I stumbled onto this
girl's profile, her bio read:
“Don't text me if you're not 6′1”
Her Display picture? The closest I could find in two
minutes:
Just a random pretty girl adding her personal preferences
for dating in her bio, totally common and nothing problematic.
Now flip the coin.
A boy goes on to add,
“Hit me up when your waistline hits 24 inches.”
I need not even explain on what kind of reaction that guy
will receive from others. Your mind would've also thought of the type of
comments he may get.
When it's very much practical and controllable to achieve a
particular size of waist then to have a height of your choosing.
I'm 5’11. Thus, I'm obviously not begging for short-guy
sympathy here, rather stating a relevant fact.
Height, for any individual, is not mouldable to great
degrees. It's believed that it can be changed through activities but that
mostly remains mysterious.
Weight, unless the person suffers from some health
boundations, can be adjusted according to the liking through sheer exercises
and rigorous diet.
Height for men works as a basic criteria for dating and
marriages. People so normally reject others if their height isn't desired by
them.
Weight in women is something you should stay as possibly
silent about as your human capacity allows you to.
You immediately become human embodiment of all sorts of
negative comments if your statement is indicated toward a woman's weight.
Nonetheless, every person deserves to have personal
preferences but this privilege should be enjoyed by both the genders.
